PeakView HFD™ is an interconnect design tool for understanding EM coupling in high-speed analog, RF and custom digital designs. PeakView HFD works early in the design cycle, before DRC / LVS and LPE can be utilized. Working directly from inside the Cadence® Virtuoso® layout environment, PeakView HFD quickly extracts EM-accurate parasitic models of critical interconnect structures that are ready for circuit simulation.
PeakView’s LEM™ structural simulation and extraction solution provides fast, easy to use, “1-click” 3D EM simulation from inside Cadence® Virtuoso®. Any Virtuoso layout view with passive structures and interconnect is automatically extracted and a full 3D EM simulation run in matter of a few minutes, without leaving the Virtuoso environment. PeakView LEM’s high-capacity handles the most complex multi-port structures returning an accurate multi-port EM model in minutes. PeakView LEM also supports custom inductor layout and modeling allowing designers to iteratively “tweak” precisely architected devices during layout to optimize performance objectives.
